Get a sponsorship

Hi,
My husband and I decided we needed to find financial support so he wrote a website as that was his job and I had worked in advertising selling space for local newspaper I did the ringing around filling in forms!
Our son had just got a scholarship to Sutton tennis academy so we decided to contact tennis companies and to our suprise we got a part sponsorship from Prince!
We also contacted a lot of other companies until a friend from school suggested my son do a radio broadcast on local radio which he will do over Easter?
We still need funding so if anyone is interested get in touch we would love to have your ideas either on what else we can do or to give us funding?

Angela's story shows that putting out the word can get positive results.
The real problem with sports scholarships is that parents, and the athletes themselves, need long term assurance that they can commit themselves to their sports. If it's short term, it doesn't help much.
And to be scholarship material, you need already to have achieved something, which will have needed some long term funding already!
