Sustainability is our core strategy

For twelve years we have been following a sustainability strategy at workouttennis.

As soon as we registered as a charity in 2002 we committed ourselves to the highest environmental standards . Here are some examples of our sustainability strategy in action: -

 - all flats and bedrooms have the highest insulation standards, and where possible all materials are completely recyclable

- all flats and bedrooms use renewable energy, specifically pellets heating and solar energy for hot water.

Live clean

For twelve years we have been following a sustainability strategy at workouttennis.

- all food consumed within the flats, where possible , is sourced locally, ensuring that we have the smallest transport CO² footprint

- all meals consumed in the flats, where possible, are prepared on the premises, ensuring the best ingredients 

Home technology

- all rainwater on the premises is recycled, specifically used for the gardens, WCs and washing machines. A minimum of water is taken out of the local network, principally for washing, drinking and cooking

- all household products used on the premises are checked for environmental qualities

- where possible, all lighting is achieved through LED lights, giving a maximum of performance, a minimum of waste products, and minimum electricity use
